Story of a Prostitute Movie Review 1965

Lurid film adapted from a novel by Taijiro Tamura. A betrayed woman volunteers to become a prostitute for a garrison of soldiers stationed on the Manchurian front in WWII. Soon, the commander takes the woman as his sole property, though she has fallen for one of his junior officers. Japanese with subtitles.
