Against Violence Movie Review 1991

Six women featured at the conference "Women in a Violent Society" speak out about violence against women. Andrea Dworkin, Sandra Butler, Carla McKague, Shirley Turcotte, Kate Millet and Rosemary Brown explore women's issues such as: pornography and serial killers, pollution and breast cancer, the sexual abuse of children, ritual abuse, women and the mental health system and violence against women from an international perspective. Each speaker's presentation is approximately eight to ten minutes long with the times logged on the tape for easy access. A discussion guide is included.
