Sitting on a Story Movie Review 1997

Chronicles the stories behind the epitaphs on the benches in a city-sponsored program in Vancouver, British Colombia. Stories include: a woman who comes to clean the bench dedicated to her dead husband every day, the gay man who brings his dogs to the bench dedicated to his partner and the man who owns numerous benches. Intertwined are the mechanics of the bench program and the role it plays in bringing a community together.
