Giant Robo: The Night the Earth Stood Still, Vol. 2 Movie Review 1992

In "Episode 3: Magnetic Web Strategy," Big Fire is rolling through nation after nation with the enormous black orb they call the Eye of Folger shutting down Shizuma drives and leaving darkness in their wake. The Experts of Justice mobilize to protect the last oil refinery, but Daisaku is surprised to learn that Giant Robo is part of the plan. This excellent episode contains a surprising twist, plus character development of both heroes and villains.
