The Hakkenden: Legend of the Dog Warriors, Vol. 7 Movie Review 1994

The eight dog warriors are preparing for battle in "Episode 12: Aspirations of Paradise." Word comes that Hamiji is being held captive, so Shino and Dosetsu sneak off to rescue her. Finally, in "Episode 13: Taking Leave of a Sullied World," the battle continues as Hamiji struggles with a personal issue. Strange mystical forces, plenty of fights, some soul searching and the touching final moments draw the series to a satisfying conclusion. A fun tip: each warrior carries his sword differently, this indicates things about his status and fighting style.
