The Hakkenden: Legend of the Dog Warriors, Vol. 6 Movie Review 1994

"Episode 10: Hamiji's Resurrection" finds Hamiji escaping the spirt world and becoming the adopted daughter of a man who later gives aid to the wounded Shino. Shino and Hamiji fall in love, but their romance is challenged on several fronts. Then, in "Episode 11: Dog Warriors in the Netherworld," seven of the eight dog warriors go into battle and find themselves facing some very unusual foes. Meanwhile, a clan chief's wife plots against him. The pace of the series picks up as it builds toward the finale. The reintroduction of Hamiji adds a touch of romance and tragedy to this volume.
