The Hakkenden: Legend of the Dog Warriors, Vol. 5 Movie Review 1994

In "Episode 8: Taigyuro Hall," a wandering swordsman who has been accused of stealing an unusual flute is invited to a banquet the same night a young warrior has come to seek vengeance. Then, in "Episode 9: The Legend of the Ghost Cat," a samurai is possessed by a cat demon and falsely accuses his daughter-in-law of adultery, but this is only the beginning of the demon's evil agenda. Two well-animated and interesting episodes. Episode 8 provides another close-up look at the dog warriors while 9 is quite stylishly horrific.
