My Son, My Son Movie Review 1940

The spoiled son (Hayward) of a successful businessman (Aherne) doesn't think twice about making everyone miserable in his quest to get everything he wants. He even goes as far as trying to steal his dad's new bride. When world war comes, he has a chance to redeem himself. Melodrama is kept from sinking to overwrought soap opera by Hayward and Aherne.
