Lies and Whispers Movie Review 1999

American child psychologist Dr. Lauren Graham (Gershon) is attending a medical convention in Prague, meets dissident Czech writer Jiri Kolmar (Serbedzija), falls instantly in love, and becomes engaged. Lauren decides to explore her own family's ties to the country and discovers grandad was a Nazi war criminal--a very embarassing revelation for Jiri, who's about to be appointed to a government post.
