It's 6 p.m. in the city of Toronto and the world will come to an end in six hours. And no one's going to save the day. So all the characters are deciding how they'd like to spend their last few hours. Patrick (McKellar) is attending a family dinner and then wants to spend his last hours alone--instead he's drawn into Sandra's (Oh) drama. She's stuck in traffic across town from her husband and Patrick tries to help her get to her rendezvous. Meanwhile, his best friend Craig (Rennie) has a few sexual conquests he still wants to make, including one with their high school French teacher, Mrs. Carlton (Bujold). Mordant humor; appealing performances.
