The Luck of Ginger Coffey Movie Review 1964

Unemployed Irish immigrant Ginger Coffey (Shaw) moves his family to Montreal, hoping for a better life. When things don't work out as planned, his wife (Ure) and daughter (McClintock) take off, leaving Ginger to stew in his own alcoholic juices. Poignant drama features Shaw at his best.
