Murder in a Small Town Movie Review 1999

It's the 1930s and Broadway director Wilder has moved to Connecticut after his wife's murder and runs the community theatre. But soon he finds himself surrounded by dead bodies and, with the aid of an opera-loving cop (Starr), Wilder decides to do some detecting.
