Williamson delivers a disappointing directorial debut in this teen horror/comedy adapted from one of his first scripts. Wrong-side-of-the-tracks Leigh Ann (Holmes) is anticipating being high school valedictorian until her sadistic English teacher Mrs. Tingle (Mirren) mistakenly accuses her of cheating. Leigh Ann and friends Jo Lynn (Coughlan) and Luke (Watson) go to Mrs. Tingle's house to plead their case and beg for mercy, but the heartless old hag refuses to listen to them. During an argument, Mrs. Tingle is knocked unconscious and the teens decide to tie her up and exact their revenge.
