Dopey would-be romantic comedy only demonstrates that actors who make it big in TV series should think about sticking to the small screen. (Or being more careful about their big screen choices.) Married tycoon Charles Newman (McDermott) has it in his power to award a lucrative contract to struggling architect Oscar Novak (Perry) and his partner, Peter Steinberg (Peter). Somehow, Newman gets the impression that Oscar is gay and would be the perfect guy to spy on Newman's young mistress, Amy (Campbell), whom he fears is about to wander. Naturally, Oscar falls for the girl and then must work around all the mistaken assumptions. Yawn.
