The X-Files: Piper Maru/Apocrypha Movie Review 1996

In "Piper Maru" a French salvage ship discovers a WWII wreck that unleashes a radioactive force and a strange black oily substance. Mulder also momentarily captures Krycek who becomes infected by the black oil. The follow-up story, "Apocrypha," finds Mulder pursuing both Krycek and the mystery of the WWII ship, while Scully tries to discover the link between her sister's murder and the shooting of Skinner.
