The Dreamlife of Angels Movie Review 1998

Deceptively simple debut from director Zouca follows the friendship of two opportunistic working class French women, Marie (Regnier) and Isa (Bouchez). Tensions between the two arise when Marie becomes involved with brutal nightclub owner Chriss (Cohn). Zouca had his female leads live together during filming to create the realistic bickering scenes. French with subtitles.
