Head On Movie Review 1998

Nineteen-year-old Ari (Dimitriades) is forced to confront his Greek heritage and its idea of manhood with the homosexuality he keeps secret from his traditional family. Much of his day is spent killing time with his friends until he can meet Sean (Garner), the young man Ari is attracted to, at a bar that night. Bored and restless, Ari is out to have a good time with as little pain to himself as possible. Adapted from the book "Loaded" by Christos Tsiolkas.
