Tokyo Cowboy Movie Review 1994

Tokyo burger flipper No Ogawa (Ida) dreams of the wild west and becoming a cowboy, inspired by the letters of his childhood pen pal, Kate (Hirt). So he decides to head for Kate's small Canadian hometown and realize his fantasies. Kate's meddling mom makes him welcome but Kate herself, only recently returned home, is hiding the fact that her friend Shelly (Mortil) is also her lover. Both have some unrealistic expectations to overcome in their quest for happiness.
