Hawaii's Last Queen Movie Review 1998

Depicts the life of Lili'uokalani, the charismatic leader of the Hawaiian people who was forced to surrender her kingdom at gunpoint in 1893. Also describes the epidemics and alcoholism that nearly destroyed the Hawaiian islanders, and the missionary fervor that nearly destroyed their culture.
