Dead End Movie Review 1998

Police sargeant Henry Smolenski (Roberts) gains custody of his troubled 16-year-old son Adam (Tierney) after his ex-wife's death. Then he learns that the death is being investigated as a murder and Adam is the primary suspect. When Adam takes off, Henry searches for him and winds up becoming a suspect himself. Soon the estranged father and son are teaming up to discover who's out to frame them. Roberts gets to play a likable, caring character for a change of pace.
