The unexpected death of his wife (Crewson) finds Hugh Stanton (McDonald) clinging to his 15-year-old daughter Lucy (Cook), who has fallen into a deep depression. Then a mysterious modeling agent "discovers" Lucy, claiming she has the face of an angel, and offers Lucy a trip to Italy. Unexplainable things happen during their stay and when Hugh investigates it seems that good and evil are in a battle for Lucy's soul.
