As emotionally realistic and cool as soap flake snow, alleged family feature has Keaton playing Jack Frost, a struggling musician who spends too much time away from wife Gabby (Preston) and son Charlie (Cross). He decides to blow off a Christmas Day gig to spend more time with the family, only to be killed on his way to their mountain cabin. One year later, forlorn Charlie makes a snowman, dresses it in his dead dad's duds, and blows a note on Jack's harmonica. Bingo! Now his dead father is back to life as a creepy-looking talking snowman! Keaton tries his best with the lame material; but with the use of four confused screenwriters, he didn't have a snowball's chance. Additional warning: Keaton sings. Not to be confused with the straight-to-video release of the same name about a murderous deranged talking snowman.
