Practical Magic Movie Review 1998

Gillian (Kidman) and Sally (Bullock) are modern-day witch sisters whose family suffers from an unfortunate 100-year-old curse. Any man they fall in love with is doomed to an early death. One more dead body, Gillian's abusive boyfriend Jimmy (Visnjic), brings out detective Gary Hallet (Quinn) and his charms prove mighty attractive to the frantic Sally. Good cast, weak story. Based on the 1995 novel by Alice Hoffman.
