Amusing comedy finds straitlaced congresswoman Phoebe Frost (Arthur) heading a committee that travels to Berlin to check on the morale (and morals) of American troops stationed there. Phoebe is suspicious of sultry singer Erika Von Schluetow (Dietrich), whose under the protection of a mysterious American officer. After Phoebe falls for Captain John Pringle (Lund), guess who turns out to be the heel in question? Of course, he's got a perfectly reasonable explanation.
