After their mother's unexpected death, 19-year-old Iris (Morton) and her married, pregnant older sister Rose (Rushbrook) deal with their grief in very different ways. The dreamy Iris decides to explore all her sexual fantasies after she has a spontaneous sexual encounter with a stranger, Tom (Townsend), and drifts into promiscuity. The fragile Iris pushes her limits to find some kind of comfort while her remaining family ties steadily disintegrate. Astonishing no-holds-barred performance by Morton.
