Horton Foote's Alone Movie Review 1997

John Webb (Cronyn) is an elderly Texas farmer, lost after the death of his wife of 52 years. His nephews (Forrest, Cooper) want him to sell his land to an interested oil company and his daughters (Miles, Hart) want to cry on his shoulder. Then Webb's former tenant farmer (Jones) comes back to visit and is the only one to ask the old man what he wants to do.
