Unsuitable Job for a Woman Movie Review 1998

Well-meaning neophyte detective Cordelia Gray (Baxendale) inherits a frowsy London detective agency from her boss and tries to make a go of it. Unfortunately, Cordelia tends to make amateur mistakes and get too emotionally involved in her cases. Two episodes: "Sacrifice" has Cordelia looking into an alleged suicide, an uncaring father, and an inheritance; "A Last Embrace" finds Cordelia investigating the philandering owner of a country hotel, which leads to murder. Based on the novels of P.D. James.
