Jamie Lee Curtis treads familiar water in this return to the wellspring of the slasher genre. She reprises her role as Laurie Strode, sister of relentless psycho-killer Michael Myers. After faking her own death and changing her name, she becomes the headmistress of a private school in California. Now an overprotective single mom, she battles with the spirit of her brother, as well as the spirit of vodka. Her rebellious son John (Harnett) blows off a field trip for a romantic weekend with girlfriend Molly (Williams). They are accompanied by fellow lust-ridden Michael fodder Charlie (Hann-Byrd) and Sarah (O'Keefe) on the dimly lit campus. Either Laurie extracts her final revenge or you can anticipate "Halloween 8: The Social Security Checks of Michael Myers." Also features Curtis' mother Janet Leigh in a family reunion of screaming divas.
