Manic-depressive Jasmine (Garofalo) responds to a personal ad placed by Arliss (Rouse), so she'll have a date for her 31st birthday. When the experience goes badly, Jasmine prevents Arliss from leaving by pulling a gun on him. Offbeat and downbeat.
