Amusing melodrama that replaces some dialogue with lip-synched popular song lyrics ala Dennis Potter's "Pennies from Heaven" and "The Singing Detective." (Pic is dedicated to Potter). Camille (Jaoui) is helping her sister Odile (Azema) and brother-in-law Claude (Arditti) look for a new Paris apartment, while beginning an affair with real estate broker Marc (Wilson) and ignoring the overtures of love-sick Simon (Dussollier). Meanwhile, Nicolas (Bacri), Odile's now-married ex-flame is also apartment hunting and Odile's vulnerable since Claude doesn't love her anymore. Everybody lies to everybody else (and themselves) and misinterprets all the situations. French with subtitles.
