Dance with Me Movie Review 1998

Cuban emigre Rafael (Chayanne) winds up in Houston, teaching at the fading Excelsior Dance Studio, which is owned by a friend of his late mother's, John Burnett (Kristofferson). Instructor (and single mom) Ruby (Williams) is looking for a partner who can help her enter the competitive ballroom dance world but she's not looking for love. But at the World Open Dance Championships in Las Vegas, she may find both. Hot salsa music and dancing, as well as the charm of the two leads, make this one worth watching for any dancer fever fan.
