In Dreams Movie Review 1998

Bening is a small town wife and mother with a psychic connection to twisted child killer Downey, causing her to dream of his gruesome crimes before he commits them. After she dreams that her daughter is killed, her life begins to unravel, causing those around her to suspect her of insanity. Draws its chills from a more cerebral standpoint, so fans of big action may want to pass. The unnerving dream sequences are suitable murky and ominous thanks to cinematographer Darius Khondji, who also filmed "Seven."
