Joey Movie Review 1998

Young Billy (Croft) rescues a baby kangaroo (known as a joey) who was left behind when an evil hunter captures a group of kangaroos and hauls them off to Sydney for nefarious purposes. So Billy puts Joey in his backpack and heads off to the city to reunite the little family--aided by the rebellious daughter (McKenna) of the newly appointed U.S. ambassador (Begley).
