Mr. Jealousy Movie Review 1998

When Lester Grimm (Stoltz) was 15, he chickened out on a good night kiss with his girl, and later spied her necking with another boy. Ever since then, he's had this thing about infidelity and he trashes every relationship because of his suspicions. It's no different when he meets the vivacious Ramona (Sciorra), who has recently broken up with arrogant author Dashiell (Eigemann). Lester joins Dashiell's therapy group to spy on his possible competition. Writer-director Baumbach stretches this thin material by making the characters interesting and the dialogue funny. Fonda's role is a cameo as Dashiell's stuttering girlfriend.
