The Very Thought of You Movie Review 1998

Limp romantic comedy finds a trio of longtime London friends clashing over their interest in the same woman. Actor Frank (Sewell), music exec Daniel (Hollander), and painter Laurence (Fiennes) all separately encounter Martha (Potter) and pick her up--without anyone realizing (until late in the movie) how they're all connected. However, Martha's character comes across as a imperious nag, while the men are either petulant, arrogant, or wimpy. You won't care who Martha finally ends up with.
