You'll notice that star and ex-Saturday Night Live newsguy MacDonald isn't even trying to act, he's just doing his deadpan wise guy routine with a different name. His delivery and attitude, however, are about the only funny things in this tale of Mitch (MacDonald) and Sam (Lange), two losers who can't keep a job but have a talent for petty revenge. When Sam's father (Warden) has a heart attack, the boys decide to open a business specializing in dirty deeds done dirt cheap to pay for a heart transplant. Although the premise is good, the tricks are mostly of the junior high variety and don't seem quite dirty enough. Several unbilled cameos, including Adam Sandler, John Goodman and the late Chris Farley.
