Mel's very, very mean. Of course, his character has every reason to be in this loose remake of 1967's "Point Blank" and the novel "The Hunter" by Richard Stark. Porter (Gibson) is doublecrossed by partner Val (Henry), who steals the loot from their latest heist as well as Porter's junkie wife, Lynn (Unger), and then leaves Porter for dead. Porter becomes obsessed with getting his money back, and he'll take on anyone who gets in his way. Very cold, violent neo-noir with a pro lead and interesting supporting cast.
