Banderas stars as Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan, a sophisticated Arabian poet and lover-turned-reluctant-warrior, who gets exiled from his homeland and caught up in a quest with a bunch of uncouth, slaughter-loving Vikings. Based on the 1976 book by Michael Crichton, this one has been sitting on the shelf a while after a rocky filming history. However, if you like bloody, action-packed epics it will satisfy your cravings.
