Mary, My Dearest Movie Review 1983

Maria (Rojo) persuades her smalltime crook boyfriend Hector (Bonilla) to join her in a traveling magic show. When the van breaks down while they're touring, Maria goes in search of a telephone and winds up in a mental institution. Mixture of styles--from an everyday look at the bourgeoise to magic realism and terror--may confuse. Spanish with subtitles.
