Godfrey Usher (Rush) is an ambitious politician whose present position is that of federal treasurer, a job he has no clue about. Usher is married to Grace Michael (Mitchell) the head of a philanthropic foundation. Scientist Richard Shorkinghorm (Wenham) and rival, ex-lover Kate Haslett (O'Connor), have both applied for funding from the foundation and are invited to the Usher/Michael home for a weekend. Surprises abound for Richard and Kate when they discover their kinky hosts are Satanists. Amusing comedy does falter but its not the fault of the performers.
