Bio of the missionary begins when the 36-year-old cloistered nun (Chaplin) starts her work in the Calcutta slums and founds the Missionaries of Charity, and culminates with her 1979 Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech. This drama was unauthorized and reportedly did not receive the approval of Mother Teresa when she learned of the project.
