Schemes Movie Review 1995

Grieving widower Paul Stewart (McCaffrey) becomes interested in Laura Pierce (Hope), a lovely young woman who said she knew his late wife. Then, Paul's business partner Evelyn (Draper) discovers Laura's not on the up and up and is really interested in Paul's substantial insurance payoff. Laura's part of a con job set up by volaile Victor (Glover), but since Evelyn's also in love with Paul, things aren't at all what they seem.
