The Women on the Roof Movie Review 1989

Naive Linnea (Ooms) rents an attic apartment in Stockholm, just before the start of WWI. Her neighbor is Anna (Bergstrom), an artist working on a tableaux that soon involves Linnea, as the women become friends and then lovers. The reappearance of Anna's former boyfriend Willy (Skarskard) leads to a menage a trois until an accident compels Anna to reveal secrets that alter their lives. Swedish with subtitles.
