Ah Magoo, we wish you wouldn't have done it again! Live-action version of the cartoon character popular in the '50s and '60s. Elderly myopic millionaire Quincy Magoo (Nielsen) unwittingly comes into possession of a stolen gem that he gives to his bulldog Angus as a toy. Bumbling government agents and evil arch-criminals are after the gem and Magoo, but he avoids them through luck and bad plot devices. Meanwhile, Magoo is mistaking a mummy's sarcophagus for a phone booth, a riverboat paddle wheel for an escalator and...well, you get the idea. Nielsen puts a "Naked Gun" spin on Magoo, and that routine is getting a bit stale. Although criticized by some blind groups as an inaccurate portrayal of the visually challenged, after a very brief run in the theatres, no one was able to see it. Opening and closing sequences include animated Magoo bits.
