Hit-or-miss (mostly miss) comedy about a con man meeting his match in a small Australian town of redneck eccentrics. On the lam, Teddy (Schaech) nevertheless offers a ride to buxom blonde Angie (Porter), whom he meets at a gas station. The next thing he knows (having been drugged), Teddy wakes up in the nightmarish community of Woop Woop, where Angie announces they've gotten married. And Angie's violent father, Daddy-O (Taylor), makes it clear his new son-in-law has no chance of making it out alive. Based on the book "The Dead Heart" by Douglas Kennedy.
