Tales from a Parallel Universe: I Worship His Shadow Movie Review 1997

Space rebels try to unseat a tyrannical ruler known as His Shadow, in this first of a four-part series. A prophecy states that the ruler will be defeated by a dying race and aiding that prediction are rebel leader Thodin (Bostwick), cowardly Stanley Tweedle (Downey), warrior Kai (McManus), and Zev (Habermann), His Shadow's unwilling love slave. Followed by the "Super Nova" episode.
