The Marquise of O Movie Review 1976

In the early 18th century, the Russian army is invading Lombardy. The widowed Marquise (Clever) is drugged and raped by Count F (Ganz), an officer with the Russians. When the Marquise discovers she's pregnant, she forces the Count to marry her, although they separate immediately after the ceremony. Adaptation of Heinrich Von Kleist's novella. German with subtitles.
