The X-Files: Sleepless/Duane Barry Movie Review 1994

With "Sleepless," the unwilling Mulder gets a new partner, Alex Krycek (Lea), and the duo investigate a top secret military sleep-eradication experiment (with Scully's unofficial help), leading to Augustus Cole (Todd), a man who hasn't slept in 24 years. The first of a two-parter, "Duane Barry," finds the title character (Railsback), holding hostages in a travel agency. Mulder's called in to negotiate and discovers the ex-FBI agent is an escaped mental patient who claims he's a repeat alien abductee. Then Scully get involved.... Followed by the epsiode "Ascension."
