Paperback Romance Movie Review 1996

Sophie (Carides) is a writer of erotica who doesn't act on her own impulses because she's embarassed by her polio-crippled leg. But when she breaks her leg, the cast allows her to pass the injury off as a skiing accident and Sophie decides to go after the man of her dreams, a charmingly shady jewelry dealer named Eddie (LaPaglia)--who just happens to be engaged.
