Another look at the 1932 kidnapping and death of Charles Lindbergh's 18-month-old son. Based on the 1985 book "The Airman and the Carpenter" by Ludovic Kennedy, it's clear the author regards Bruno Richard Hauptmann (Rea), who was executed in 1936, as an innocent scapegoat essentially railroaded thanks to media and political pressures.
